12 Artists - 1 Cozy room
We set up an exhibition in one bedroom of a Leeds Bed and Breakfast (Room
11, The Moorlea Hotel, 146 Woodsley Road).
We wanted to take 'art' out of the gallery and into a connection with 'real
life' - as a setting, and as a way for an audience to come to interact with
'art' away from its more usual presentation as a commodity object. In this
setting we raise questions about how we see ourselves in relation to our
possessions, how people respond to different situations and sites, and what the
stuff of life is all about.
